Roots / Alt Country
Earth Music, Mountain Music, Dirt Music. “Rivers that sing, trees that grin, songs that ride on the wind. Men From Earth takes folk to the mountain and conjures a Wildwood dream.”
Four generations of players, honest heartfelt lyric, sound and vocal harmony in the tradition of the classic string bands and artists. Whether they hail from bluegrass, folk or rock the common thread is always a deep respect and commitment to the craft of song, lyric and story.

Facebook Group for Pale Riders Documentary
Pale Riders fused the soul of blues, the attitude of rock, the story of folk and the landscape of country and were one of Australia's premiere independent acts in the 90's. Scott Bird, Scott Mainwaring and Garry Vandepol began playing together in their early teens and continued experimenting, performing, writing and recording from the late seventies up until 2001 when they disbanded. Pale Riders pre-dated the nu-roots wave which crested in the early 00’s with the likes of Ben Harper, Xavier Rudd and John Butler trio. Their music lives on in the digital world, as relevant today as it was 20 years ago. All records available at our online store.
